Tupton War Memorial

The inscription reads: TO THE GLORY OF GOD AND IN PROUD AND GRATEFUL MEMORY OF THE MEN WHO/ LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR  1914-1918/ (NAMES)/ THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE/ AND IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR 1939-1945/ (NAMES)/ THE ABOVE NAMES ARE OF PARISHIONERS KILLED WHILST SERVING IN HIS MAJESTIES FORCES/ (NAMES)/ THE ABOVE NAMES ARE OF PARISHIONERS KILLED IN THE AIR RAID ON TUPTON/ ON THE 15TH MARCH 1941.
